Hey guys... just wanted to remind y'all to anonymously post your track list on the "Track Lists" post. Happy Listening... I don't know about you guys, but California got our mixes in the mail today.
I'm dying to get mine! I had them sent to work, so I have to wait a whole two more days to jump in.
Has anyone else gone on a sort of 'music fast' in preparation for this? After my mix was done, I was like 'give me some JAMES TAYLOR or nothing al all!' haha...I might be alone in my principles here, but man, all this 'new' music can be draining. (I'm just telling you how I feel Sinclair, don't get mad).
The Music Game v3.0 is a competition. It's a game where 9 contestants, living all across the country, compete to make the best mix of the group. There's a 12 song limit and while it's an unwritten rule, mixes featuring good never-before-heard music are generally favored. All mixes are created, duplicated 9 times, and anonymously shipped to a central location by April 1, 2007. And once they're numerically tagged, these mixes are then divided up and sent to each participant, who has approximately 1 month to listen to and evaluate each mix before voting on the best of the best. The prize for winning is bragging rights as well as a much enhanced music collection. Superlatives are also awarded based on categories that are thus far undetermined.

that's right Meghan...nothing like some James Taylor - a man with some good SOUTHERN roots!!
James Vernon Taylor (born March 12, 1948) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Belmont, Massachusetts.
then I'm sure you also saw this:
Taylor grew up in Chapel Hill, NC.
Maybe you've heard of his well-known song, Carolina in my Mind? Clearly those are his fondest memories...
sorry this is so delayed...but just to get the last word:
James and I feel very fond of NC; it's a nice place to live for a little while. But our ROOTS will always be in Mass.
Maybe you need to be Shipped to Boston Kelly, then you'll get it.
