What is this?
The Music Game v3.0 is a competition. It's a game where 9 contestants, living all across the country, compete to make the best mix of the group. There's a 12 song limit and while it's an unwritten rule, mixes featuring good never-before-heard music are generally favored. All mixes are created, duplicated 9 times, and anonymously shipped to a central location by April 1, 2007. And once they're numerically tagged, these mixes are then divided up and sent to each participant, who has approximately 1 month to listen to and evaluate each mix before voting on the best of the best. The prize for winning is bragging rights as well as a much enhanced music collection. Superlatives are also awarded based on categories that are thus far undetermined.

I fucking 'heart' the Tally Hall cd. I got it after hearing "Good Day" on this mix and haven't stopped listening to it since. It's just a really fun album with a lot of solid songs. I highly recommend "Be Born" and "Two Wuv" (which is about Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen).
i too heart tally hall. Mix 6 maker did you consider putting good day as your opening song? I think it would have been a good plan. good work mix 6 this bananas for you!
I did consider it as the opening song however I decided against it and right now I can't really remember why. I too love "Be Born" and "Two Wuv" off the Tally Hall cd as well as "the Bidding" - those who do not have it should def give it a try!
i have to admit that your selection of "Volcanoes" surprised me, Mix 6 Maker. just because the intro. was straight up WEIRD... and while that can be overlooked if the song is awesome, i found the song to be just average-above average.

I'm sorry you feel that way "threat level midnight" - however I like this song, which was the basis for its inclusion. I do agree its weird...but sometimes I guess I like weird. sorry to offend - maybe you could skip the Oscar intro by making a mashup and cover the beginning of the song with something that suits your taste? (ask #3 how one would do this)
I think we need more cussing on here, actually.
mix 6, please explain why in the hell you thought that we would enjoy listening to volcanoes? It is by far worse than dirty town.

d.m.p.c. if you read my previous post you would see why I included it. I apologize that you have poor taste in music but please don't waste my time making me repeat myself or I might start cussing...Sin City style.
Islands are not too bad, and I don't mind the intro at all.
Mix 6, did you previously listen to The Unicorns, who had 2 of the 3 members of Islands? Highly recommended if you like Islands.
