What is this?
The Music Game v3.0 is a competition. It's a game where 9 contestants, living all across the country, compete to make the best mix of the group. There's a 12 song limit and while it's an unwritten rule, mixes featuring good never-before-heard music are generally favored. All mixes are created, duplicated 9 times, and anonymously shipped to a central location by April 1, 2007. And once they're numerically tagged, these mixes are then divided up and sent to each participant, who has approximately 1 month to listen to and evaluate each mix before voting on the best of the best. The prize for winning is bragging rights as well as a much enhanced music collection. Superlatives are also awarded based on categories that are thus far undetermined.

will you marry me? i understand that you might want to take things a little slower... but i just feel like we have a connection; specifically a Modest Mouse, Fratellis, and Patrick Park connection. i also love the fact that you love Tegan & Sara and The Killers. our compatability is unquestionable. please respond at your convenience. i'd be happy to ask your father's permission once you give me an answer.
Hate to be a hater, but...two songs ruined an otherwise near-perfect mix: Patrick Park and Tegan & Sara. I like Patrick Park, but this was just a bad song. Not to worry, you weren't the only one to use it. But you can't get more trite than a song titled "Life's a Song". Yeah, that, and its a dance, and its a journey, and a book, and a dream, and a box of chocolates. Tegan & Sara just didn't fit with the rest of the mix. But the reason I mention this is the rest of your mix was really really good. Still might even be my favorite.
(sheepish and apologetic) After careful review, I have to revise my opinion on Tegan & Sara. Consider me a convert, or at least a non-hater. Pretty good stuff.
i listen to this mix the most. but don't let it go to your head 8.
Mix 5 Maker...wow! Since music compatability is the true test for relationship compatability, how could I refuse the marriage proposal? Let's play our mixes at the reception...and I think I want to walk down the aisle to your Dropkick Murphys song (but only the first 40 seconds, I will walk quickly)
Simon Cowell I am glad that you are a Tegan & Sara convert...they are excellent. To give credit where credit is due, I was introduced to them through the first music game.
