Mix 9 Maker... I have a comment and question for you. First the comment: I got the new Kings of Leon album recently and I absolutely love it. Although I do have to admit that "Charmer" didn't exactly fuel my desire to get the album. I'm a huge fan of "On Call."

Now for the Question: Have you seen these guys live lately? I ask because I'm curious to find out if the shrieking on "Charmer" is real or an effect. I can't imagine Caleb making that noise night in and night out without ruining his vocal chords.

mix 9, i am a big fan of your mix especially dugout, put your hands together for the offbeat, apartment story, and I love to dance.

Do you by any change have a pre-released copy of Boxer yet?

The song choice of "Charmer" was mainly because it sounds a lot like the Pixies and I love the energy behind the song. I haven't seen KOL ever, so I'm not sure about the growling/screeching.

And I do have a pre-release copy of Boxer - have had it for about a month now.

I'd recommend the Spank Rock cd from last year - YoYoYoYoYo - if you dug "IMC" at all. Its fully of raunchy Baltimore beats and was my #11 favorite cd from last year.

that schreeching on Charmer is pretty out there. I always know its going to be there and then it still freaks me out each time! interesting for sure...

This mix is definitely growing on me the more I hear it. I like the Langhorne Slim song...it's very catchy!

This could prob be said for all the songs on the mix, but I'd recommend searching out for the album (in this case, When the Sun's Gone Down) a lot if you dug the track.

I apologise, but, in my opinion, you are not right. I am assured.
