Thanks for putting that up there Kelly... good call. I'm definitely planning on going right now. Does anyone know how much tickets are gonna cost? I went to the website, but couldn't find anything. And are the people that are going planning on attending all 3 days?
For Coachella, I know that 3 day passes are $249 and 1 day passes are $85.
I won't be able to make a final decision until closer to the time, but it's definitely penciled into my schedule.
You know you're not "settled down" when you have no idea what you'll be doing for work or even where you're living five months from now. That's starting to get old.
But whereever I am and whoever I'm getting coffee for, I want to be in Austin. Thanks for the headsup Kelly.
I'm definitely planning on going. Also, I got a hotel room downtown for any and all who are interested...I can always cancel it, but thought it might be easier than all of us crashing at jimmy's. I'm pretty sure it's close enough to walk...can't wait!!!
I am definitely planning on going too and think this is just something we all need to plan (and start saving for) now so we can all be there!!
I don't know if I am going to do the 3 day pass or not, I was planning to come in on Thursday night but will make final arrangements according to what the plan turns out to be...

I am in for the whole shabang - I definitely plan on getting a 3 day pass and being in Austin by sometime Thursday night. I am up for staying wherever...I had kinda planned on Jimmy's since he previously offered but I agree it could get crowded. RD - what was the deal with your dad's work condo?
I am 99% sure that it would be available, but I didn't follow up on my research once I found out that it is not located downtown. If people are okay with not being downtown then I can find out exaclty where it is and if it is available that weekend...it would definitely be a free option if it is available.
I'm planning on being there all three days, as well. I want to fly in sometime Thursday early afternoon, see a little of Austin, and fly out either Sunday evening or Monday morning...depending on the Sunday evening lineup.
People here in Austin cannot say enough about ACL! This must be one amazing festival. Its a Zilker Park which is seperated from downtown by Town Lake (looks like a river). I'm so fired up that so many of y'all are planning to come!! We are going to have a freaking blast. Yeah, I dont know what the line-up is, but tons of the bands from this contest will be there I'm sure...they already come through here anyway. I can fit a few folks here at my place...and Katie's hotel room idea is PERFECT! Dont cancel that room...the location is too good. I'm going to play the 1-day, 2-day, 3-day pass by ear until I see some prices. Come ready to party!! This weekend will be VERY COLLEGE!!! And I'm fired up to escort any early arrivals around town on Thursday. Also, Will's boat might come into play as well as floating the Guadaloupe River...just depends what we can all fit in. Oh, and Zilker Park is AWESOME...awesome venue for multiple bands.
