Would it be crossing the line if we renamed the "worst song" superlative, "The Josh Johnson Memorial?"
Not out of cruelty to Josh or his taste in music, but just because he was the last winner of this award and his choice of Shaggy's "Angel" has since become so legendary.
I think my favorite part of this blog is the office names and that I keep seeing names I thought of using...including the most recent, "angela's cat posters"
Moving on...
Although I do share Josh's love for Shaggy and a good Hawaiian ukulele, I would not be the least bit offended by such an award. However, I must thank everyone for considering my feelings.
The Music Game v3.0 is a competition. It's a game where 9 contestants, living all across the country, compete to make the best mix of the group. There's a 12 song limit and while it's an unwritten rule, mixes featuring good never-before-heard music are generally favored. All mixes are created, duplicated 9 times, and anonymously shipped to a central location by April 1, 2007. And once they're numerically tagged, these mixes are then divided up and sent to each participant, who has approximately 1 month to listen to and evaluate each mix before voting on the best of the best. The prize for winning is bragging rights as well as a much enhanced music collection. Superlatives are also awarded based on categories that are thus far undetermined.

or we can call it "Electronic Presidental Hell" either works.
coming from the person who included DMB...twice...I'll consider that a compliment!
well, since kelly and josh do have the EXACT same taste in music, that might be a bit insulting to her.
Ha..touche oven mitt. Those were different days. I insist on a "Most Improved Mix" for a superlative.
- Best flowing mix
- Best mix-opening song
- Best mix-ending song
- Mix most different from your tastes
Always a fan of these:
- best song to listen to right before you kill yourself
- song most likely to become "our song" with your girlfriend/boyfriend
- song that your parents/grandparents would be most likely to pick as their favorite
I just have to say that all these comments often making me "LOL" at work, followed by the phrase:
"my friends are such dorks!" (in a good way)
I agree with Big Tuna that we might be offending Kelly with the reference to Josh's taste in music...I am so glad that was brought up again.
